In July 2001, CAE relocated to their purpose-built 5,000 sq. ft hangar incorporating a woodwork and metalwork shop, and a comprehensive spray booth, 34ft x 14ft, with extraction and temperature control.

Over the last three years, CAE have rebuilt a Christen Eagle, Steamann and restored the company CCAF Harvard IV to flying condition. In 2004, CAE commenced the restoration of a Spitfire TR9 and Hurricane IIB.
